How to Treat Acne With TretinoinTretinoin (vitamin A acid) is a retinoid used in treatment of skin conditions such as severe acne (pustules), rosacea (red spots on the forehead, cheeks and nose), stretch marks, wrinkles and pigmentation. Tretinoine causes the damaged skin to be replaced by a new skin by accelerating cell division in the upper skin layer. Thus new skin cells are generated faster. This way impurities such as stains, wrinkles and obstructed sebaceous glands disappear, and subcutaneous inflammations can heal.
How to apply Tretinoin Cream properly:Before you start using Tretinoin, please read patient leaflet if available or consult your pharmacist if you have any questions about Tretinoin before taking this medication. Apply Tretinoin Cream or lotion once a day in a thin layer on the acne affected areas of clean and dry skin (preferably in the evening before bed). Treat only necessary areas and avoid contact with eyes, nose, wounds and healthy skin. If this happens, rinse the cream or lotion thoroughly with water. Wash your hands after using Tretinoin.
